Frequently asked questions
What if questions are worth different points?
Then count points, not questions: enter points earned as “correct” and total points as “total.” The percentage math is identical.
Is 90% always an A?
On the common 10-point scale, yes. Some schools use 93% for an A or apply plus/minus bands — the calculator’s letters follow the widely used 90/80/70/65 scale and say so.
How many can I miss and still get an A?
For a 90% threshold, you can miss 10% of the questions: 5 on a 50-question test, 10 on a 100-question test.
